The Evolution of the Sweater

Through the history of man, we have had to adapt and evolve to survive. From our pre-historic fore-fathers which were monkey like, to the cad-monkey types of today’s society. Our next step as a man will next be to the Jazzy scooter that so many have eyed.

But unlike the evolution of man, the sweater really has only had a short life. From Bill Cosby in the 80’s, to Mr. Rogers on early morning television, we have had to endure few possibilities of creative genius.

Today, being the day of Festivus and a severe snow storm in Toronto, I have tried to reinvent the sweater, and bring a new sense of honour to the delicate craft of sweater wearing.

Sorry Justin, you can’t pull of the sweater unless you’re holding a kitten in your arms.

what makes the sweater for me is the shirt underneath – it’s a nice pairing – is that a mock turtleneck?
