St. Louis Bike To Work Month
They may not look like what you would first imagine.
They may not look like anything TV makes them out to be.
But they are . . .
[It may be necessary to say "the St. Louis HOK Biker Gang!" in your best dramatic theatrical voice over; go ahead, try it again, I'll wait]

Did you ride in to work today? See or do anything that makes biking better than other transportation?

I enjoy riding my bicycle, but find St. Louis not to be a bicycle friendly city, especially during rush-hour traffic.
i am so jealous of the t-shirts!!
I rode in today an saw a carwreck along the bike route. Two thoughts occured: Glad I rode to work, but scared because if I was 5 min faster this driver would have taken me out along with the parked cars and the tree in Tower Grove neighborhood. The driver was going too fast by the damage I saw and lost control. Any low speed crash would have not had that much damage to the car, tree, or house.
It was a great day for commuting by bike-
I drafted behind a 1940’s era Chrysler…
Said hello to a lady walking her dogs and a mailman…
Rode through the barricades on Chestnut Street with no remorse for the cars that have to find alternate routes.
Got a great workout while commuting.
Free shower at the office!
And last, but not least, I found 15 cents on the pavement (cha-ching!)
I like Steven’s review. Of course he’s quietly doing Bike to Work Decade, not Bike to Work Month. 20+ miles a day roundtrip in whatever weather Mother Nature throws at him is impressive.
