I don’t know if the construction company should be scolded for building insufficient foundations or rewarded for building a building that won’t collapse – even if you knock it over. This 13-story building fell on its side while under construction. Read more….

jeez. it makes me really really grateful for all the building codes, permitting processes and inspections we have to get through in the U.S…. it seems like a lot of hoops most of the time but it generally keeps stuff like *this* from happening. thank god that building wasn’t occupied yet.
I posted this on my Facebook page and one of my friends commented that “it actually looks nicer now”
