Here is a brief email that John sent to the office earlier in the season to recruit a few good dodgeballers…

Hey all;

The next season of DodgeBall is starting up and we are looking for a few good decent ok…. well, we are just looking for some folks to play. Games Start 10/8 see schedule below.

The teams are generally 14 players and we have about 7 slots left, all league fees are covered and will include a T-shirt (woo-hoo).

This is a social division. It’s geared towards people who are joining the league to have a fun time, meet new people, and play skilled DodgeBall casually. If you want to join the team, please RSVP by Tuesday, September 9, 2008

Our post-game socializing takes place at Boss Tweed’s Saloon on Essex Street

To Kickoff the season, we will also be screening the movie “Dodgeball: A TRUE underdog Story” in the Times Square conference room on Monday, 10/6 at 6pm. Food/Refreshments will be served. All are invited to attend whether you join the team or not.

Game Times/Dates:

All games are played beginning at 7:00 and end about 8:30pm – that’s when the “social” part of this social league kicks in
