I don't get to see the work-you but I believe what jim said that you 100% rocked it all! Boxing class usually does the trick for me or going for a run and sprinting til you feel like you might throw-up (which for me is approximately 2 minutes) if physical exertion doesn't quite do the trick I know I'm in big trouble, so I either go straight to $2.50 wine happy hour or hide under my covers and cry :) Here's to a better week!!!

Jodi
Even on a bad you day you kick major ass! You kicked ass all week so hold your head high and let that cool boxer lick it clean of all the self inflicted wounds. I just had a a nice glass of really cold Hanger One Mandarin vodka to ease the pain - kind of like mainlining (Lou Reed style). I ease the stress by cycling - exercise reduces the stress, great scenery takes my mind to another place and if I'm lucky, good friends give me shit along the ride that makes me forget about all big stuff. Enjoy your weekend and here's a virtual toast to doing good work!

Sorry Pookie! I like to lie to myself and say that it'll be better later. I also like to write or bake when I've had a downright rotten day. As you mentioned, the dog waggles are always cheerful! Hopefully writing this blog helped! [Pookie is what a friend calls me when I tell her I've had a bad day, thought it might work on some one else]

jeez, Jodi. I feel for you! I'm going to be working all weekend myself. Sometimes I have to take a step back and get a hold of myself so I am not crabby to everyone. Also, a big glass of wine and an episode of So You Think You Can Dance always makes me feel better at the end of a bad day. and my cat. I just remind myself of the bigger picture, what I like about my job overall and the people I work with (internally and the client side) and try to put the smaller things (that feel huge) in perspective. and I try to think of ways to make it better for future similar instances, what ever 'it' is.
