Since this post will be my sixteenth blog entry for hoklife.com and it also happens to be December 16th, I thought that I would work with the number theme that I’ve picked up on to develop a new post.  Recently, I’ve noticed that some of my blogs have come in handy as reference tools for friends, family and even strangers.  Given my location and my regular need to come up with itineraries for guests and visitors, I have decided to create a list of Sixteen Places Worth Visiting In New York City.  Please be advised that I have lived here for just under two years, so I haven’t yet seen it all.  This list will probably evolve over time, but it has served me well thus far.  When friends and relatives come into town, I default to a lot of these places…feel free to add suggestions if you would like. I’m always up for learning about new and interesting things to do in New York!

Here is my (non-exhaustive) list, in no particular order:

16. The Studio Museum in Harlem

15. Carnegie Deli

14. Rockefeller Center

13. The New York Times Building

12. Central Park

11. The Museum of Modern Art

10. Broadway

9.   Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater

8.   Washington Square Park

7.  Sezz Medi

6.  Union Square

5.  Lincoln Center

4.  El Malecon

3.  Madison Square Park

2.  Columbus Circle

1.  The Highline

Kim this is a wonderful list for those wanting to come out and visit the big apple like I did this summer! Unfortunately, I was only able to see two of those places on your sweet sixteen list. SOOO we’ve got 14 more to see and do when I return again for my bday:)
