Jeremy Smith

Jeremy is part of Atlanta’s architecture group but likes to dabble in S&T and the interiors group. He hopes to get some time helping the planning group soon. He is very passionate about the sustainability that HOK strives so hard to achieve.

He loves to use his hands in architecture and is more interested in the morality of construction than the final appearance of a building.

In school, Jeremy worked with one of his professors at Kemp Mooney Architects. He was fascinated by how easily his mentor could communicate his designs by hand drafting. At Southern Polytechnic State University, Jeremy built models as a way to help others understand his designs. Jeremy started at HOK after graduating at SPSU with a Bachelors of Architecture.

Jeremy recently moved to Midtown Atlanta due to his love for urban life after his travels and experience at Columbia University, where he took a summer course on architecture. He loves being outdoors and is an avid mountain biker. His love for the outdoors began when he worked as a whitewater rafting guide on the Ocoee River. He also worked construction and led horseback riding tours through the Tennessee Mountains that summer.
