What is your ideal aircraft seating?

Picking up from a morning HOK LA’s kitchen coffee chat with Aneirin Owens, who was on the way travelling to Doha for NDIA project, we started talking about what an ideal long flight aircraft seating should be. As much as we both love the branding and high tech concept of Virgin America and Virgin Atlantic, we thought the new Upper Class Suite seating designed by Pearsonlloyd is arguably not too ideal.

Entering my second week in San Francisco, with a pleasure to be able to work on another aviation project (New Doha International Airport) and sit right in front of Director of Special Projects (lead designer of NDIA), watching his collection of airplane models (rumor says that’s all of the airlines he had worked with) reminds me of two exhibitions by Jeffrey Milstein I saw in Los Angeles a couple years ago.
