A Few Dozen Slices
The memories of family camping trips are still a source of strength for me. I remember my first time quite vividly, kind of like the first time I drank a cup of water. Waking up early in the morning. Climbing into the back seat of the car. Getting something to eat – probably Tim Horton’s. We’d drive and drive and drive, until we finally stopped. I didn’t really know where we were, but there were some trees there. The rush of blood to my feet from running to the washroom always made me feel all tingly inside after a long car ride.
